This is the next craft on my list I want to try, an upcycled tie necklace. Tutorial here.
I'm going to use this tie and sew it directly to a white or black shirt, instead of just making a necklace. I hope it works out well.
Katie and I have a bunch of vintage ties we got from an old man in our ward after we helped clean out his house. The possibilities are endless!!! I haven't bought the suit button yet, but I'll keep you guys posted on my progress.

p.s like 10 years ago I cut up a bunch of vintage ties and sewed them into a skirt. Haven't ever finished it, but now I will!
